Sugar Cookie Pound Cake

You guys....
YOU GUYS...

Try this.
Now.

My sister made this one night for our family and I almost died.
It's like sugar cookie dough....but in cake form.

Heaven.
(Have you noticed yet that my sister makes the best desserts? It's true.)

Here's how to make it...

Stir together until light and fluffy:
3/4 c softened butter
2 1/4 c sugar

Add and mix until smooth:
4 eggs
3/4 c. sour cream

Add and mix until smooth:
2 1/4 c flour

Stir in
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/4 tsp lemon extract

Grease and flour your bundt pan & place on top of a cookie sheet.

Wrap a damp towel around the edge of the bundt pan.

Bake for 55 min; remove damp towel
Bake for an additional 10-20 minutes until golden brown or it starts to crack.

Let sit 10-15 minutes before removing from the pan.
Dust with powdered sugar to serve.

I love this cake served hot with raspberry preserves and whipped cream.
BUT
It is even better served cold. (Overnight if possible)
Cold sugar cookie cake, sprinkled with powdered sugar?
pure. sweet. sugary. bliss.

XO-Elle
